ZERO TOLERANCE NOISE & PARTY POLICY

  • A strict ZERO TOLERANCE NOISE AND PARTY POLICY applies
  • In the interests of quiet enjoyment and respect for all guests, the motel must be quiet between 10 pm and 7 am
  • No group gatherings in guest rooms is permitted or tolerated
  • All visitors must leave the property by 9pm
  • No gatherings on the verandah outside rooms is permitted after 9pm
  • BBQ area must be tidied and vacated by 9pm
  • Immediate termination of booking without refund will be invoked for noisy and/or disrespectful guests

BOOKING

  • Payment will be requested in full on check in
  • All reservations must be guaranteed at the time of making the booking by providing details of a current and valid credit card
  • By providing credit card details, you are authorising Junction Motel, Maryborough to charge the cost of your booking to the credit card in the case of cancellation or “no show” as detailed in our Cancellation Policy below
  • Payment may be required in full at the time of making the reservation
  • On arrival, guests may be asked to show the credit card used to pay for the room (or guarantee the room) in addition to producing photo ID

CANCELLATIONS

  • Guests may cancel their reservation free of charge up to 2.00 pm two days prior to arrival (unless specific cancellation policies are advised at the time of booking)
  • Bookings cancelled after 2.00 pm two days prior to arrival, may result in the first full nights’ tariff being charged to the credit card used to guarantee the booking
  • Bookings cancelled after 2.00 pm on the day prior to arrival, or in the event of a “no show”, may result in the full amount of the booking being charged to the credit card used to guarantee the booking
  • A FOURTEEN (14) day cancellation policy applies for bookings between Christmas and January 2nd, Long Weekends, Easter and local events
  • Longer cancellation policies will apply for group bookings and major events. These will be communicated at the time the reservation is made
  • NO refund will be given if your stay is cut short for any reason

CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT

  • Check-in time is between:
    • 2.00 pm and 7.00 pm Monday to Saturday
    • 2.00 pm and 6.00 pm Sundays and Public Holidays
  • Check out time is 10.00 am
  • For LATE arrivals outside of the above times, please contact us directly to make arrangements for key collection
  • Guests who require a guaranteed check-in earlier than 2.00 pm are encouraged to book the room for the previous night to avoid disappointment
  • Late check-out is subject to availability and MUST be arranged in advance. Check-out later than 11.00 am will be charged a further full nights’ accommodation

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS:

  • NO SMOKING – smoking of any description (including vaping) is not permitted inside any of our motel rooms. A charge of $400 applies where there is any physical evidence or residual odour which indicates that smoking of any form has taken place inside a guest room.
  • PETS – are not allowed in rooms OR in cars (the exception is registered assistance dogs). Immediate termination of reservation will apply, and additional cleaning costs may apply.  Assistance dogs must wear their vests at all times whilst on the motel property.
  • SHOW DOGS – are only permitted via prior and specific arrangement. Strict conditions apply and a maximum of TWO dogs are permitted per booking
  • COOKING – is strictly forbidden inside guest rooms with the exception of the appliances provided. Guests may not use any non-approved cooking appliances in rooms. Additional cleaning fees may apply should guests cook inside rooms
  • BICYCLES – are NOT permitted inside guest rooms. Locked storage is available for guests wishing to have their bicycles stored at their own risk.
  • DAMAGE – any damage, breakages, theft or losses are the full responsibility of the registered guest for the duration of their stay
  • ADDITIONAL CLEANING – which may be required as a result of vomit or any other bodily waste will incur a cleaning and/or replacement fee relative to the costs and loss of revenue incurred. This may include professional cleaning or deep cleansing of carpets, curtains, grout etc or in extreme cases, replacement of bedding (including mattress and base) or other soft furnishings.
  • KEYS – any keys unable to be recovered from a guest will incur a replacement fee of up to $100
  • CANDLES – are NOT permitted to be lit inside rooms
  • EXTRA BEDDING – we do not have rollaway beds or divans. No additional bedding including swags, inflatable mattresses etc is permitted in our rooms
  • EXTRA PERSONS – the number of guests in a room must not exceed the fixed sleeping positions for each room. Should extra persons be found at the motel, other than guests registered as staying in the room, may result in the booking being terminated and all persons being required to leave the motel without refund
  • GUEST AGE – guests must be 21 years of age or older to make a booking and stay at Junction Motel, Maryborough
  • GROUP BOOKINGS – will be accepted at the discretion of management

MANAGEMENT DISCRETION
Management reserves the right to cancel/revoke a booking in the following circumstances:

  • If a guest arrives to check-in in an intoxicated or disruptive state
  • If staff, owners or other guests are treated in a disrespectful or threatening manner
  • Has not confirmed the booking or forwarded deposit monies by the required date
  • Has been purposefully deceptive regarding the number of guests staying and/or books a room which is not appropriate for the number of guests staying
  • fails to arrive within a reasonable time of the advised ETA, and after reasonable efforts have been made to contact the guest
